We made the macros up on campus at the library, and they were working fine. However, when we tried this on our personal computers (desktop and laptop, both Windows7 and 2010 PowerPoint) the macros weren't working correctly. If you know what is wrong, please tell us!!!!!
I think we've got it figured out! If you register and you don't automatically jump to a title page slide, then you may have the same problem we had. If you use a flash drive to save your response file to (check your computer to see what drive letter your flash drive is assigned to) then all the macros should work and you'll have a response file when you're done. (This may only apply to those using Windows 7?)
We added a post-test to test the knowledge our learner gained through our instruction.
Added a register macro which includes the following:
YourName
GetDriveName
CreateDataFile
AssignGroup
GoToTreatment
We also have a RecordTime macro to record the total time it takes the learner to finish our instruction and a Submit macro to record the responses to all of our post-test questions.
The learner will be assigned randomly to a treatment group. The control group starts on Slide 2 and the treatment group starts on slide 50. After registering, the learner will be led to whichever slide (treatment) they're assigned to take.
